When editor Meg suggested that I do a year-end roundup of strange design, I thought the pickings might be thin. Boy, was I wrong; TreeHugger is just full of it.

Lets start with our slideshow format that we introduced last year; it's strange. there is so much stuff at the top that by the time you scroll down to read the copy, you have lost the button to advance the slide and nobody sees the rest of the hard work we have done to put this thing together.
